3.3.1 Benefits for Employees
3.3.1.1 All GoTeach activities have a clear benefit for employees and their teams:
- Employees act as role models, helping young people develop confidence and employability skills
- Employees build on their own leadership, mentoring, problem solving and communication skills
- The employee’s place of work, along with DHL Group as a company, is showcased as a leading local employer that cares about the local community (which in turn builds our company reputation)
- Greater pride and company loyalty encourages improved Employee Engagement* and drives the long-term success of the company
*) Employee Engagement is an internal KPI describing the extent to which employees feel passionate about their jobs, are committed to the organization, and are willing to go the extra mile in their work.
