# Committed GoTeach team: GoTeach runs through collaboration: A team with different skills, experiences, and viewpoints come together as one global team, committed to doing their best for young people living in disadvantaged socioeconomic circumstances and sharing the same mindset – supportive, with a can-do spirit and openness. GoTeach lives a team-based culture. We work on eye-level and seek to find joint solution. This is how we create a sustainable relationship between colleagues from DPDHL, SOS Children’s Villages and Teach For All and create a fair and reliable environment for everyone.

# Local ownership and global framework: GoTeach is based on local ownership and a global framework. The program on country level relies on the personal commitment and responsibility that DPDHL teams and partner organizations take in working together. It is considered an important prerequisite for the efficiency, sustainability and success of GoTeach. For this reason, activities vary quite a bit at the country-level, but have the same objectives. Given the large number of program countries, and the differences between these contexts, the formats and implementation of activities varies greatly. All activities shall be jointly agreed upon at local level by both the DHL team and the partner organization in the respective country.

# Sharing expertise: The biggest asset we have in GoTeach is the local employees of DHL. They are our experts and role models for how successful the transition from school to the world of work can be, even if circumstances are challenging. All activities aim at training and guiding the youth and/or sharing personal career development stories and experience. As compared to other corporate citizenship programs, GoTeach focuses very much on empowering young people by sharing expertise. This makes the GoTeach partnership exceptional. We never forget that it's the Group’s employees who make GoTeach a success by investing a significant amount of time, effort, and attention in GoTeach.

# Creating solutions: The future belongs to those who take what they have learnt from today to build a better tomorrow. We strive to have an impact on the employability of young people. So we not only encourage our employees to create and drive their own ideas. Drawing on our years of experience working with SOS Children’s Villages, we have launched the joint initiative YouthCan! to encourage other companies to engage on behalf of young people in similar ways. Gaining the support of additional partners is key to expanding this work with young people.

That is why we not only encourage our GoTeach teams to create and drive their own Solutions in their local context. The spirit of GoTeach defines the environment in which we work. Our spirit includes a variety of elements including the program’s mission, vision, goals and attributes of our culture.
