Planning definition:
“Planning is the systematic process of establishing a need and then working out the best way to meet the need, within a strategic framework that enables you to identify priorities and determines your operational principles.”
In the context of GoTeach planning, one of our first steps would be to establish the needs of the children, young people, fellows, migrants we work with to find how we could best address the needs with the skills and expertise of our volunteers and outlining a method, timeframe and team to implement the activities.
This chapter aims to create an understanding of the process of planning for GoTeach activities across the SOS Children’s Villages and Teach for All partnerships and within the various GoTeach engagement areas (UK foundations, Refugee programme).
