Evaluations complement ongoing monitoring activities by providing more in-depth, objective assessments of the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the programme.
The evaluation of the outcome/impact level for the social case lies in the responsibility of each organization. Outcomes are evaluated jointly in external led evaluations, in case of SOS CV every 3-5 years, in case of the partnership with Teach For All this is planned for 2020/2021 for the first time.
Measuring social impact, of both long-term social change and what happens along the way to this change, is a challenging task especially as the activities and programs applied are very diverse and thus difficult to compare with each other.
