2.1.1 The Challenge
2.1.1.1 Countering the risk of marginalization and social exclusion
Young people all over the world face challenges when trying to find employment and establish their own independence.
According to a recent report by the International Labour Organization, 267 million young people worldwide are neither in employment, education nor training.
Without education, work experience and an income, young people - especially those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds - are unlikely to break the cycle of a lifetime of continued poverty.
GoTeach was launched in 2009 in response to this ever increasing challenge, in a bid to provide real support and improve employability.
