7.5.8.6.1 Annual Evaluation of Young People

Every year the young people involved in the program are asked to provide feedback on the basis of their GoTeach experiences, whether gained over the course of the calendar year or during a specific period of participation.

This evaluation is intended to create an overarching understanding of participant experiences and establish whether the experience has achieved the intended objectives in the key performance areas derived from the theory of change social case.

The evaluation is available online for the young people to access and complete themselves. Alternatively the forms can be printed out for the young people to complete as a physical document and subsequently uploaded.

The feedback is important as it helps us understand what is going well, where we could improve, and how the program could be adjusted going forward.

The participation of the young people is vital to create a clear understanding of their needs and how best to address them. But more than this, it also provides immediate feedback from the young people and illustrates what the program can achieve.
