7.5.8.6.3.1 Evaluating GoTeach
7.5.8.6.3.1.1 Evaluations complement ongoing monitoring activities by providing more in-depth, objective assessments of the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the program.
The evaluation of the outcome/impact level for the social case lies in the responsibility of each organization. Outcomes are evaluated jointly in externally led evaluations. In the case of SOS CV this takes place every 3-5 years and in the case of the partnership with Teach for All it is planned that this will take place for the first time in 2020/2021.
Measuring social impact, both of long-term social change and what happens along the way, is a challenging task especially as the activities and programs applied are very diverse and thus difficult to compare.
