10.2.3 The responsibilities within GoTeach:

GoTeach is strongly defined by local ownership. In every country, SOS Children's Villages, Teach For All and DPDHL staff collaborate to plan and implement GoTeach activities. This means that the responsibility for the design and implementation of activities strongly depend on a local and national context.

Given the large number of program countries, and the differences between these contexts, the formats and implementation of activities varies greatly. Nevertheless, all activities are aimed at training and guiding the youth and/or sharing personal career development stories and experience.

This means that the program is strongly dependent on local initiatives by DPDHL volunteers and the partner organisations staff. All invest their time and expertise jointly to drive the program. Regional coordinators are mainly coordinating and supervising the initiatives, also reporting regularly to the global team as well as conducting all needed trainings to the local coordinators. Next to their supervisory function, the responsibilities of the global team (GoTeach and partner organisations) is to ensure a fertile environment within the organisations and different contexts.
