10.4.1 Further contacts within our GoTeach network

  • DHL Internal Comms Manager – GoTeach stories can be shared with Internal Comms so that they may have a wider reach internally on platforms such as Yammer, DHL Logistics media and communication platforms within partner organizations. Spreading the word helps to increase the number of people interested in taking part in GoTeach internally.
  • DHL External Comms Manager – GoTeach stories can be shared with External Comms to afford them a wider reach externally.
  • Local media contacts – when organizing major events such as launching GoTeach in your country or major activities that deserve media attention in your local community, it's a good idea to think about using media coverage to publicize and raise awareness for the initiative locally.

In order to further scale the impact of GoTeach, it might also be in the interest of the program to coordinate and stay connected with other corporate players and companies that interact with the young people (in a similar way to GoTeach). The SOS Children’s Villages Youth-Can! Program, for example, brings together further companies alongside DPDHL, aiming to support young people as they transition from school to work. By ensuring that programs are successfully coordinated, it is possible to increase the impact on the young people involved.
