9.4.1 What to do - and what avoid

  • Do share information about your local activities
  • Do not discuss donations or activation budgets
  • Do not name customers, unless explicit consent has been previously sought or unless customers have participated in a GoTeach activity and they have given their express permission for their name to be mentioned in the context of their GoTeach involvement
  • Do not name specific young people we have worked with unless consent has been previously sought
  • If questioned on the business:
    • do not discuss revenue/ profit figures
    • do not discuss/ mention market-sensitive information (e.g., M&A deals in planning)
  • Everything you say is on the record, do not say something that could be misinterpreted or quoted in the upcoming story for example, if there was a negative experience
