Locally rooted and globally informed: We believe that the combination of innovative, autonomous, local teams and a global team that connects them to learn from each other will maximize impact.
GoTeach promotes independent and locally led initiatives achieved by:
- Developing a vision for maximizing the impact of the unifying mission and principles of the GoTeach program in their national contexts
- Building the external support and internal capacity to maximize impact nationally
- Continuously improving and innovating, informed by their own experience and what they can learn from colleagues in their countries and across the world
- Shaping the global GoTeach program through supporting colleagues across the world and helping each other develop and grow, and through contributing to the work and resources of the global organization
- Elevating their voices and diverse experiences to inform the global discussion, contributing to the collective wisdom that drives action and resource allocation within our network and beyond
The role of GoTeach global and regional teams:
- Captures and spreads learning: We capture and spread learning by identifying insights from across the program and advising countries in applying them to their individual contexts
- Facilitates connections: Through global and regional conferences and peer-to-peer visits, we enable connections to learn with and from one-another
