3.4.1 GoTeach's accomplishments

3.4.1.1 GoTeach has been providing individual guidance and support to young people since 2009.

GoTeach strives to meet the individual needs of young people, getting them actively involved, and ensuring local ownership with activities planned by local teams. The project offers young people first-hand exposure to the culture and working life at DPDHL Group and gives DPDHL Group employees the chance to share their knowledge and skills as mentors. GoTeach supports in motivating these young people, helping them clarify their goals, understanding their strengths, and accompanying them on their way to becoming productive, independent adults.

In 2019 alone, more than 2,000 employees contributed to our GoTeach partnerships – making it possible for more than 11,000 young people to benefit from the program.

Nothing is more sustainable than investing in the future of young people by fostering their employability in the modern working world. As such our central objective is what makes our program is sustainable. In each and every one of the activities we support, both the young people and the volunteers involved have a chance to develop and grow, making a positive contribution not only to their own future but also to society as a whole.
