  • Specifically in GoTeach, our mission is aligned with goals #4, and #8, which espouse the need to enable children and youth to fulfill their potential by developing their mindsets, life skills, and capacity to reach their aspirations and connecting them to the world of work.
  • Equally, DPDHL Group is committed to the collective impact approach of SDG #17 through its GoTeach program by demonstrating best practices to inspire and encourage multi-stakeholder partnerships, which will in turn help to scale the activities and solutions.

• Through our GoTeach program, DPDHL Group offers employees the opportunity to utilize their knowledge and skills to contribute to society.
  • We make our networks and services available at no charge – for example, our volunteers organize various activities for and provide mentoring services to youth living in socioeconomically challenged environments around the world.
  • More than 114,000 employees volunteered in around 3,100 local-level projects in 2019 alone.
  • Through DPDHL Group’s partnerships with SOS Children’s Villages and Teach For All, employees who volunteer have access to resources across all three organizations to reach out to youth in need.

• DPDHL Group’s GoTeach program aims to improve the employability of socioeconomically challenged youth. GoTeach volunteers do this by partnering with SOS Children’s Villages and Teach for All to help youth in their programs to prepare for the demands of the working world and improve their chances of gaining employment.
  • Since GoTeach launched in 2009, XXX number of volunteers have had an impact on XXX youth
  • Through our partnerships with SOS Children’s Villages and Teach for All, Deutsche Post DHL Group provides:
    • Volunteer support for young people through activities such as mentoring, career coaching, internships, job application/interview training, internships soft skills training and vocational skills training
    • Financial support, knowledge transfer and the support of local and worldwide networks

• Every child needs a love and a family. This is the foundation which is crucial to help ensure that children become independent adults. SOS Children’s Villages provides a loving home and family for children without parental care, and supports the families and local communities around children at risk of losing parental care.
• Youth unemployment is a global issue that leaves young people without parental care at an even greater disadvantage. GoTeach activities support vulnerable young people to become self-reliant and paves the way for a sustainable future.
• Deutsche Post DHL Group is a long term strategic partner of the SOS Children’s Villages YouthCan! initiative contributing to the SDGs and driving the agenda to work in partnerships to leave no one behind.

Teach For All is a network of 59 partner organizations and a global organizations developing collective leadership to ensure all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential

In all corners of the world, the Teach For All network and DPDHL Group employees are improving employability for students of all ages through GoTeach, together, DPDHL Group, Teach For All’s global organization, and network partners provide access to resources, experiences, tools, and capacity building and mentoring opportunities that enable students to succeed in a dynamic global economy.
