7.5.5 Let's GoTeach/The Annual GoTeach Process/Step 5: The Young People

The young people are the participants of GoTeach and represent the target group from our partner organizations.


Role of Young people:

  • Sharing of their needs and aspirations in respect of employability
  • Active participation during GoTeach activities
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Be open to experiencing working environments and the rules of these environments
  • Willingness to gain first time work experience
  • Willingness to be mentored and take responsibility for themselves
  • Willingness to share their views and experiences in respect of employability
  • Willingness to learn about entrepreneurship
  • Willingness to listen and participate


Recruitment of young people to participate in GoTeach

  • Young people who fit the target group for GoTeach are selected by the partners organization to participate in activities


Recognition of young people

  • Recognition of the young persons participation can be done through certificate hand outs at the end of the GoTeach year
  • A branded GoTeach item as a gift and photographs of the certificate handover
  • Young people may also be recognized by participating in GoTeach planning and coordinating in the following year
